OPTIONAL ENLARGED DUCT AND AIRBOX 

When aiming for power, size matters. Our Snailworks Engineering Team aimed to break free from the limitations of the small OEM duct design. That's why the optional AMS airbox and duct are substantially larger than stock, enhancing airflow from the front grille. With a 149% increase in size at the connection point, a better ram-air effect is achieved, leading to cooler intake air for your engine.

PERFECTLY ENGINEERED SILICONE AND PIPING 

The turbo inlet silicone couplers play a crucial role in delivering air smoothly to the WRX's turbo for optimal performance. Our AMS Snailworks Engineering Team meticulously designed each silicone connection to facilitate seamless airflow transitions, minimizing restrictions and enhancing turbo breathing. Additionally, a factory-style locating fixture has been integrated into the silicone construction, ensuring effortless installation of the AMS Performance 2022+ Subaru WRX Air Intake. This innovative feature provides clear piping orientation for hassle-free installation on the compressor cover.

The AMS Performance 2022+ Subaru WRX Air Intake enhances power potential by optimizing airflow. With a billet MAF housing, 3" intake piping, and high-performance dry media filter, it boosts intake tract capacity for improved engine performance. Optional AMS airbox and duct ensure lower intake air temperatures, enabling the turbo to ingest cold air efficiently, maximizing power capability.

The organically shaped duct and intake pipe ensure perfect fitment and reduce pre-turbo airflow restriction. Gradual bend radii and pipe size transitions facilitate unimpeded airflow to the turbo compressor inlet. Dyno tests by our AMS Snailworks Engineers demonstrate significant horsepower gains, with a 15 WHP improvement over stock without ECU changes and a remarkable 25 WHP increase with a Cobb Stage 1 OTS Map. Improved torque across the RPM range enhances low RPM drivability and power output. The AMS Performance VB WRX Air Intake delivers undeniable performance benefits.

PRODUCT NOTES 

• The filters use specially designed media that allows performance and efficiency to be restored to near new each time by simply using compressed air (30-40 psi) from the inside out, making frequent washing  unnecessary in order to restore filter performance. For a deep cleaning from extreme environments, a biodegradable cleaner such as Simple Green or other mild shop degreasers can be used. Simply place the filter in a solution or spray the cleaner on the filter. Allow the solution to loosen the particulate and then rinse thoroughly. Shake the filter or use compressed air from the inside outward to remove residual water and allow a full day or two to dry.
