AMS PERFORMANCE 4 PORT BOOST CONTROL SOLENOID KIT – FOR ALPHA R35 GTR TURBO KITS

When adding a new turbo system to your GTR, superior boost control is essential. Our BCS kit offers finer boost control resolution compared to the factory solenoid, ensuring precise performance. Crafted for durability and easy installation, it guarantees robustness and quality without complexity.

The 4-port boost control solenoid is ideal for finely tuned GTRs aiming for maximum performance. Unlike the 3-port solenoid, it adjusts pressure at both top and bottom ports of the wastegate, enhancing peak boost control range. By reducing pressure at the bottom port and increasing it at the top port, it effectively elevates spring pressure, allowing for higher maximum boost levels even under high exhaust manifold back pressures. This setup enables the use of a lower pressure spring inside the wastegate, ensuring precise control over both minimum and maximum boost levels without compromise.

*NOTE* While the 4 port BCS does allow for a wider range of boost levels to be controlled with 1 solenoid, there is a substantial loss in control during normal driving conditions. For this reason, we only suggest the 4 port BCS to be used on dedicated racing applications, and not on vehicles where daily drivability is a concern.
