The SnailWorks© AMS Engineering Team meticulously crafted the AMS Performance Alpha V10 Intake Manifold using Solidworks© CAD software and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. Constructed from premium billet 6061 T6 aluminum, this manifold undergoes precision CNC machining for an exact fit. Customize it with your preferred color and finish for a personalized touch from our custom shop.

The plenum's functionality significantly impacts intake manifold performance. In the R8 & Huracan, each engine bank has a dedicated plenum. Proper sizing ensures optimal volume, while shaping them to distribute charged air evenly among precisely machined CNC aluminum velocity stacks enhances efficiency. Both billet aluminum plenums are tapered to channel charged air effectively, reducing turbulence and accelerating delivery to the engine.

The AMS Alpha V10 Intake Manifold, designed for use with OEM fuel rails or our upcoming AMS fuel rails, ensures adaptability and future-proofing. Equipped with AN ORB fittings of various sizes, it accommodates factory lines or custom vacuum lines, offering fueling capabilities ranging from mild to wild.

Tailored for boosted applications, the AMS V10 Billet Intake Manifold boasts features not present in the naturally aspirated V10 engines of the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. This manifold incorporates two additional ports for integrating dual Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors into your setup. Particularly beneficial for systems like Syvecs or MoTeC engine management, these sensors enable precise measurement and control of boost levels for enhanced performance.

Our SnailWorks© engineers have taken an innovative approach by integrating raised velocity stacks into their design. Elevating the runner inlets above the plenum floor reduces the risk of airflow turbulence often encountered with other aftermarket manifolds, ensuring optimal performance.

PRODUCT NOTES 

  • Upper to lower runner rings are available separately, or come included with the Alpha V10 Twin Turbo Kit. 
  • While other fuel rail kits may work, AMS can only guarantee stock or AMS fuel rails to be compatible with this intake manifold. 
  • Custom color anodizing or powder coating can add as much as 4 weeks to your build time. However, expedited service is available in most cases.
