Identifying the deficiencies of the factory fuel pump system, our AMS Snailworks® Engineering Team seized the opportunity to redefine the status quo. The original setup in the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 disappoints, featuring a modest single fuel pump incapable of meeting the demands of higher horsepower applications. Many enthusiasts grapple with fuel starvation when their tank dips below half-full. Our solution rectifies this, delivering robust fuel flow. The single pump configuration supports up to 800 HP, while the dual pump variant impressively handles 1400 HP, rendering it an optimal companion for aftermarket port injection systems.

NO MORE FUEL STARVATION UNDER A HALF TANK

The AMS Performance Infiniti Q50/Q60 In-Tank Fuel System stands out as a comprehensive solution meticulously crafted by our esteemed AMS Snailworks® Engineering Team, surpassing mere add-on pump offerings typical of our competitors. By conceptualizing the system as a cohesive whole, rather than focusing solely on individual components, we've unlocked the potential to optimize fuel flow, drivability, and user-friendliness.

Our team meticulously reimagined the system, identifying various factory fuel system components ripe for rerouting, removal, or replacement to dramatically enhance system performance, ensuring the continuous supply of fuel to the pump assembly.

A standout feature of the AMS In-Tank Fuel Pump System is its enhanced siphon system functionality, addressing the prevalent issue of fuel starvation when fuel levels dip below half a tank. This enhancement is achieved through a ground-up redesign, incorporating our proprietary siphon routing solution. Bid farewell to the hassle of maintaining a minimum half-tank or resorting to cumbersome external surge tanks in the trunk.

Our engineers extended the factory pickup on the left side of the tank and introduced an entirely new secondary pickup on the right side, bolstering overall flow. Strategically positioned at the rear of the tank, these siphon pickups capitalize on natural fuel movement during vehicle launches or acceleration, ensuring a steady supply to the pumps. Even in demanding racing conditions, our oversized fuel pump basket remains consistently filled, thanks to these strategically placed siphon pickups.
