The core elements of the INFINITI Q50/Q60 Red Alpha Cold Air Intake Kit are its sealed cold air intake boxes. Our expert SnailWorks© Engineering Team understands that heat is the primary factor diminishing power in lesser intake systems. Hence, they've engineered the Red Alpha air boxes to shield against scorching engine bay temperatures. Leveraging your car’s existing intake cowl, they've designed air box openings that seamlessly align with its air ducts. But our engineers didn't stop there; they identified further areas for enhancement across all system components.

The INFINITI Q50/Q60 Red Alpha Cold Air Intake Kit boasts dry media air filters with an innovative integrated bell horn. Engineered by the AMS Engineering Team, this bell horn seamlessly channels clean, cold air from the filters into the stock MAF housings, eliminating turbulence that leads to power loss and instability. Lastly, attention was given to the silicone that delivers cold air to the two Garrett turbos.

The air boxes and dry media filters are integral components of a system engineered to smoothly deliver air to the VR30’s twin turbos. To ensure seamless delivery of cold air to the turbos, the Red Alpha silicone couplers were meticulously designed by our Engineers. These silicone couplers seamlessly transition the cold air into the turbos, reinforced with wire to maintain their shape against the vacuum forces. The design of the new Red Alpha Cold Air Intake System sets it apart in the market, with its standout performance gains being the ultimate highlight.

NOTES 

• The filters use specially designed media that allows performance and efficiency to be restored to near new each time by simply using compressed air (30-40 psi) from the inside out, making frequent washing  unnecessary in order to restore filter performance. For a deep cleaning from extreme environments, a biodegradable cleaner such as Simple Green or other mild shop degreasers can be used. Simply place the filter in a solution or spray the cleaner on the filter. Allow the solution to loosen the particulate and then rinse thoroughly. Shake the filter or use compressed air from the inside outward to remove residual water and allow a full day or two to dry.
