CROSS-FLOW DESIGN FOR IMPROVED EFFICIENCY 

The factory VR30DDTT engine intercooler system has significant room for enhancement. AMS started by designing the Heat Exchanger to expel excess heat and then focused on improving coolant flow and capacity with the Auxiliary Coolant Pump and Tank. Anticipating higher power levels, AMS engineers innovated the INFINITI Q50/Q60 VR30 Intercoolers. Unlike traditional cross-flow designs, AMS employs a counter-flow system for optimal thermal efficiency, pairing coolest water with coolest air inside the core, redefining intercooler design.

Our included line kit boasts 33% larger feed lines and 20% larger return lines over OEM, ensuring top-notch performance and durability.

BETTER DATA THROUGH PROPER ENGINEERING DESIGN 

The Temperature Manifold Absolute Pressure (TMAP) sensor is crucial for VR30DDTT engine performance, informing the ECU's adjustments during operation. Traditional sensor placement in intercoolers leads to delayed readings and calibration issues. Our AMS SNAILWORKS© Engineering Team optimized sensor location in the INFINITI Q50/Q60 VR30 Intercoolers for responsive, accurate data. With precise readings, tuners can optimize power and safety in all conditions.
