Crafted with precision, it features a sealed cold air intake box designed by our SnailWorks© Engineering Team to combat heat and seal out engine bay temperatures, maximizing performance. Leveraging the Supra’s intake ducting, the air box opening perfectly matches the air duct, ensuring optimal airflow. With AMS, excellence is assured.

Upon examining other system components, further enhancements were discovered. The intake piping has been enlarged to 90mm, boosting airflow and ensuring compatibility with larger aftermarket turbo compressor cover inlets. This represents a significant 26.5% increase in cross-sectional area compared to the factory system, which suffers from flow-reducing corrugations and tapers down to 65mm at the compressor cover inlet. Whether retaining the stock turbo or opting for an aftermarket unit, this intake system caters to your needs.

Installation is a breeze with no cutting, trimming, or extra component removal required. Using basic hand tools, you can have it installed in minutes! Paired with a custom-made, reusable synthetic high-flow dry media filter, you won't need to invest in disposable factory paper filters anymore. With a "Dry Media" filter, there's no messy oiling required. Our intake stands out as the top choice. The washable MKV Supra synthetic media filter is tailored precisely for this high-performance automotive application. Its size and configuration are optimized to deliver ample air for any MKV Supra, even those with upgraded turbos, without compromising filter efficiency.

The new AMS airbox is designed to evenly distribute airflow around the intake filter, leading to reduced pressure drop and extended filter life. The AMS Performance MKV Supra Carbon Fiber Intake Kit boasts a 25% reduction in pressure drop for enhanced efficiency and power. While aftermarket engine components may not significantly impact horsepower without proper ECU tuning, our engineers emphasize the importance of calibration. Don't fall for claims of horsepower gains without ECU calibration! Our enclosed dry air filter, crafted from hand-laid carbon fiber, draws in more air, perfectly complementing the AMS MKV Supra Carbon Fiber Engine Cover with its matte carbon finish.

Product Notes 

The filter features specially designed dry media, enabling easy restoration of performance and efficiency with compressed air from the inside out, eliminating the need for frequent washing. For thorough cleaning from harsh environments, biodegradable cleaners like Simple Green or mild shop degreasers are recommended. Submerge the filter in a solution or spray cleaner onto it, allowing the solution to loosen particulate before rinsing thoroughly. Shake the filter or use compressed air from the inside outward to remove residual water and allow 24 hours to dry.

As these motorsports grade carbon fiber parts are hand laid, slight imperfections or weave pattern variances can be expected.
