This synergy of product engineering and calibration data ensures that the AMS Stage 1 injectors deliver cold start and drivability performance comparable to OEM injectors, maintaining a factory spray pattern validated through both experimental methods and Computational Fluid Dynamics.

 

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS 

The AMS VR30DDTT Stage 1 Direct Injectors are crafted from brand-new OE manufacturer direct VR30DDTT HDEV5 injector cores. These injectors are sourced through the OE supply chain, ensuring VR30-specific features like factory-correct overmold and fuel rail characteristics for seamless OEM fitment. Throughout the entire manufacturing process by Nostrum, each injector and its subcomponents undergo serialization, QR coding, and meticulous tracking, ensuring comprehensive traceability. AMS and Nostrum stand behind the quality of these units, offering a Limited Lifetime Warranty¹ at no extra cost to safeguard your investment against manufacturer's defects.

PUT IT TO THE TEST 

What distinguishes every AMS component, including the AMS VR30 Stage 1 Injectors, is our comprehensive R&D testing regimen. Prior to public release, these injectors undergo extensive testing, covering thousands of miles across multiple vehicles, including numerous 1/4 and 1/2 mile runs. Our AMS Engine Calibrators dedicate hundreds of hours to refining these injectors in collaboration with Nostrum High Performance, ensuring optimal fueling performance and vehicle drivability. Moreover, each AMS VR30 Injector undergoes meticulous bench testing, including 100% static flow testing and multi-point dynamic testing by Nostrum. They are then dynamically batched with a +/-5% flow variation and serialized with specific data packages for direct calibration before shipping, as part of our stringent quality control process.

Below, you'll find graphs illustrating the theoretical maximum horsepower and torque capability of the VR30 Stage 1 Direct Injectors on various fuel types, paired with different injector and HPFP combinations. While this data doesn't necessarily predict the horsepower your vehicle will produce, it provides insight into the theoretical capability of the fuel system components.

PRODUCT NOTES 

• In order to take full advantage of these AMS Stage 1 Direct Injectors, specific calibrations to your ECU tune file will need to be made. Once the injectors are installed, an appropriate ECU calibration must be loaded before the engine starts and runs or damage can occur!
