The AMS VR30 Stage 2 Direct Injectors have been engineered to be a direct fit, OEM injector replacement that require no fuel rail or electrical adapters to install. The AMS and Nostrum Calibration Teams have also gone the extra mile to make sure the Stage 2 Direct Injectors are also easy for tuners to calibrate with the supplied injector calibration data. Our combined product engineering and calibration data together allow the AMS Stage 2 injectors to achieve cold start and drivability characteristics on par with the OEM injectors by utilizing a next-gen spray pattern ⁠expertly engineered specifically for the VR30DDTT engine application.

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS 

The AMS VR30DDTT Stage 2 Direct Injectors are built using brand new OE manufacturer direct VR30DDTT HDEV5 injector cores. These injectors are sourced through the OE supply chain, ensuring they possess VR30-specific features such as factory-correct overmold and fuel rail characteristics, ensuring a seamless OEM fitment. Throughout the entirety of the manufacturing process at Nostrum, each injector and its subcomponents undergo serialization, QR coding, and tracking, guaranteeing full traceability. AMS and Nostrum stand behind the quality of these units, offering a Limited Lifetime Warranty¹ against manufacturer’s defects at no extra cost, providing assurance for your investment.

PUT IT TO THE TEST 

What distinguishes AMS components, including the AMS VR30 Stage 2 Injectors, is our comprehensive battery of R&D testing. Prior to their public release, these injectors undergo extensive testing, including thousands of miles on multiple vehicles and numerous 1/4 and 1/2 mile runs. AMS Engine Calibrators devote hundreds of hours to refining these injectors with Nostrum High Performance, ensuring optimal fueling performance and vehicle drivability.

Furthermore, all AMS VR30 Injectors undergo bench testing by Nostrum, which includes static flow testing and multi-point dynamic testing. This meticulous testing process ensures consistent performance across injectors, enhancing both wide-open-throttle and idle performance. Each injector is dynamically batched to minimize flow variation as part of our rigorous quality control process.

Additionally, we provide theoretical maximum horsepower and torque capability graphs for the VR30 Stage 2 Direct Injectors on various fuel types and injector/HPFP combinations. While these graphs offer insight into the potential of the fuel system components, they may not precisely reflect the horsepower your vehicle will achieve. Rather, they demonstrate the theoretical capabilities of the fuel system components.

PRODUCT NOTES 

• In order to take full advantage of these AMS Stage 2 Direct Injectors, specific calibrations to your ECU tune file will need to be made. Once the injectors are installed, an appropriate ECU calibration must be loaded before the engine starts and runs or damage can occur! 
• Please be aware there are two separate instruction guide files available for this product. The first is a physical installation guide, and the second is a calibration quick-start guide. 
• Fuel rail replacement during injector installation is highly recommended for pre-2021 INFINITI Q Vehicles. Please see OEM injector failure statement for more details.
