Don't be deceived by other high-performance aftermarket options that rely on the OEM plastic rock guard. The OEM rock guard's vertical channel design is tailored to the tube spacing of the OEM core only. When installed on an aftermarket radiator, it obstructs a significant portion of the surface area, undermining performance. During CSF's R&D phase, both OEM and aftermarket offerings were analyzed, leading to the redesign of the included rock guard. This ensures maximum flow to the radiator core while still providing ample protection from small rocks and road debris – validated in CSF's in-house wind tunnel testing.
