The Cusco Type-RS LSD offers a revolutionary approach to limited-slip differential systems, ensuring a more consistent and evenly spread initial lock setting across friction plates compared to traditional LSD systems. Featuring an inner-coil spring design, it allows for setting less initial lock on friction plates while maintaining a similar response level. These springs ensure even contact between friction plates, extending their lifespan and preventing surface deformation.
In the RS Type design, chattering of plates is effectively minimized by maintaining consistent pressure across the radius of the friction plates. Furthermore, the oil-through design facilitates positive pressurized flow of the differential gear oil throughout the entire system, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
Cusco Type-RS Limited Slip Differential is suited for drivers who:
- Prefer lower maintenance on racing-grade Limited Slip Differential Units.
- Prefer more immediacy in actuation response right from the initial lock setting to the maximum preset lock rate.
