Cusco's performance limited slip differentials offer significant benefits in various driving scenarios. During turns, an LSD ensures that both driven wheels spin at the same rate, maximizing traction and stability when exiting corners. This prevents the inner wheel from spinning freely and disrupting the car's balance. Moreover, during acceleration, Cusco LSDs maintain firm traction on both wheels, preventing one from spinning excessively and ensuring that power is effectively transferred to the ground.

Cusco provides two LSD types to suit different driving preferences. The Type-RS LSD features springs that absorb initial torque, resulting in smoother engagement, minimal chatter, and extended lifespan. Additionally, it reduces the frequency of oil changes. On the other hand, the Type-MZ LSD, without springs, offers harder engagement than the RS model. By adjusting the number of clutch plates, users can customize sensitivity, making it a cost-effective choice.

Furthermore, Cusco offers a 1.5 Way LSD variant, which activates more under acceleration than during deceleration. This differential type is suitable for various motorsports applications, providing optimized performance during acceleration while offering a lighter lockup during deceleration, ideal for traditional road racing. Despite its lighter lockup during deceleration, many users find it suitable for aggressive motorsports like drifting or low-gear auto-crossing and gymkhana. Additionally, front-wheel-drive vehicles benefit from increased stability during braking.
