The 1.5-way Type RS LSD employs coil springs positioned between the pressure rings to generate initial torque. It achieves full engagement during acceleration and partial engagement during deceleration. The utilization of coil springs instead of cone plates facilitates quicker and smoother engagement, while ensuring heightened durability. Additionally, this LSD can be converted into a 2-way LSD for expanded functionality.

Moreover, the LSD is fully customizable, offering different clutch pack configurations and spring tension presets, allowing for precise adjustments to meet the end-user's preferences. This unit can also be transformed into a 2-way LSD by rotating the center spline to engage during both acceleration and deceleration.
