The ID1700 represents the latest collaboration between Injector Dynamics and Bosch Motorsport, bridging the gap between the ID1300 and ID2000 injectors. Like its predecessor, the ID1700 boasts corrosion-resistant internals, ensuring compatibility with all automotive fuels.

A unique magnetic circuit, developed through extensive research and testing, endows the ID1700 with immunity to voltage and pressure sensitivity issues common in high impedance, high flow injectors. Excelling under the high pressures typical of modern automotive systems, the ID1700 delivers flawless performance in various applications.

Engineered to accommodate a wide range of fuels, the ID1700 is primarily utilized for delivering E85 to turbocharged engines or gasoline in extreme high horsepower scenarios. While extended linearity at low flow rates was not a top priority during the design phase, the ID1700 guarantees seamless stoichiometric idle and cruise mixtures on E85, mirroring the performance of the ID2000. However, achieving the same level of performance on gasoline is not guaranteed.

For those requiring impeccable drivability on gasoline, the ID1300 is the optimal choice, providing approximately 150hp per injector on E85.
