Our Mishimoto Performance Intercooler features a substantial 4.7-inch thick core, CNC-machined 6061 aluminum flanges, and precision TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks. This construction ensures durability and reliability, matching the ruggedness of your Bronco. Compared to the factory tube-and-fin intercooler with plastic end tanks, our intercooler offers superior heat resistance, pressure tolerance, and resistance to debris encountered on both road and trail.

But durability isn't the only benefit. Our Performance Intercooler boasts a 77% increase in core volume and a 175% increase in fin surface area. For the 2.3L EcoBoost engine, this translates to a 7% increase in flow and a remarkable 21.2°F reduction in outlet temperatures compared to stock. During our rigorous trail simulation heat-soak testing, our intercooler consistently maintained outlet temperatures 20°F cooler than stock, even after 6 back-to-back dyno runs.
