The Bov5 by Turbosmart embodies a 38mm positive-seal piston-style valve, leveraging our motorsport-proven boost-balance technology. This means that the valve's sealing capability improves with increased boost pressure – it's that straightforward! Crafted from Billet Aluminum and meticulously assembled with precision-matched pistons for optimal responsiveness, each valve undergoes rigorous testing to ensure proper sealing and operation before shipment. Capable of bypassing up to 800HP worth of airflow, the Dual Port Bov5 offers factory ECU and airflow meter sensor-friendly recirculation of air during light throttle and boost conditions. Meanwhile, the vent-to-atmosphere trumpet facilitates substantial airflow during high-power, high-boost scenarios through our staged venting strategy.
