Keep your oil temperature under control with an oil cooler kit from Z1! The Z1 Oil Cooler Kit fits all Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models equipped with the rear-wheel-drive VR30 3.0t powertrain.

Managing oil temperature on a turbocharged car is crucial for the engine and turbos' longevity. While the Red Sport Q50 and Q60 come with a small oil cooler installed behind the front bumper, this setup might not suffice for tuned cars subjected to repeated abuse, especially non-Sport models equipped with a small water-to-oil heat exchanger. The Z1 Oil Cooler Kit was meticulously developed using our VR30 swapped 370Z and Q60 as test beds, undergoing extensive testing on and off the track. Our testing has shown an average oil temperature drop of 18 degrees over non-Sport models in track conditions.

The Z1 Q50/Q60 3.0t Oil Cooler kit replaces the factory oil filter housing on both Red Sport and non-Sport models. For Red Sport models, this entails replacing the small factory oil cooler lines with -10AN lines and full-flow AN fittings. For non-Sport models, it involves removing the factory water-to-oil heat exchanger, which functions more as an oil heater than a cooler. The new oil filter housing features a low-profile two-piece design made of 6061 Aluminum, serving as a platform to attach a Mocal sandwich plate adapter. We've also upgraded the oil filter stud to facilitate easier servicing. The oil cooler lines are constructed from -10 AN PTFE lined stainless steel hose with a protective braided wrap to prevent damage, and they feature full-flow -10AN fittings for precise line fitment and routing. The stainless steel oil cooler bracket offers flexibility in mounting, with rubber bushings to isolate engine and chassis vibrations. The Z1 Oil Cooler Kit is designed with top-quality components for efficient cooling, trouble-free usage, and straightforward installation.

Optional Components

Cooler Size: At the heart of this package is an oil cooler core in your choice of 20-row or 25-row Setrab 9-series.

Core Dimensions

• 20 Row  (16" x 1 7/8" x 6 1/16") -- Recommended for most light street applications or applications in colder climates where less cooling is required. 
• 25 Row  (16" x 1 7/8" x 7 9/16") -- Recommended for more intense applications where occasional track use will be seen, or in high-temperature climates where more cooling is required.

Sandwich Plate Adapter: You have the option to select either the Standard Non-Thermostatic Mocal Sandwich Plate adapter or the Thermostatic model. It's strongly advised to opt for the Thermostatic sandwich plate adapter when installing an oil cooler on a street-driven vehicle. While controlling high oil temperature is crucial, maintaining the proper temperature is equally important to ensure optimal lubrication.

  Installation Note: Vehicles equipped with adaptive cruise control may require the removal of the adaptive cruise control module located inside the front bumper for installation. If this module is moved, dealership programming may be necessary.
